Three killed by lightning strikes in Bagmara

Upazila Representative : Three persons died after lightning struck them at Bagmara upazila in Rajshahi district on Saturday.

The incidents occurred at Hazrapara village in Bhobaniganj municipality of the upazila.

The deceased were identified as Nezam Uddin, 63, Rony Sheikh, 25, and Babu, 24.

Eeyewitnesses and local sources said Nezam Uddin was killed bu thunderbolt around 3:30 pm when he went to paddy field, leaving him injured.

He was declared dead at local Upazila Health Complex.

Meanwhile, Rony and Babu also killed by lightning striked, said Bagmara Police Station OC Mr. Mostaq Ahmed.
