Online Report : After 49 days` of suspension, train services resumed on Monday morning following health regulations amid lcokdown.
Kamalapur Rail Station manager Masud Sarwar said a train of `Parabat Express` left for Sylhet at 6:20am. Besides, local train `Balaka Express` also left the station.
Some passengers were seen waiting outside the station this morning as there was no arrangements for tickets selling at the station. Most of the passengers failed to buy tickets through online, some of them did not know about online ticket sell.
Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan on Sunday said 56 inter-city and 18 local trains would resume services from Monday.
The trains would carry 50 per cent passengers against their carrying capacity. The tickets would be sold through online only.
Meanwhile, Shipping Ministry official also said all launches would resume services with 50 per cent capacity from Monday.
