Press Release: Webinar titled ‘Team BUP: Past, Present and Future’ held on the occasion of 13th Raising Day

Dhaka, 05 June 2021: Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) celebrated its thirteenth raising day on 05 June 2021 with due dignity. This University has completed its 12 years successful journey and stepped into the 13th year on this raising day. Due to pandemic situation, the day was celebrated in a smaller scale in this year. To mark the day, BUP arranged a webinar titled ‘Team BUP: Past, Present and Future’.

BUP VC Major General Md Moshfequr Rahman, SGP, SUP, ndc, psc joined in the webinar as the chief guest. Lt Col Md Mehedi Hasan Chowdhury, psc, Inf, Additional Registrar, Academic Section moderated the programme. BUP first and former VC Lieutenant General Abdul Wadud, ndu, psc, PhD (Retd) gave a welcome speech at the beginning of the ceremony and provided various directional information on the past, present and future of BUP. Moreover, BUP VC, Pro-VC, Registrar, high officials, teachers, employees, former and current students spoke on the webinar highlighting the significance of BUP Day.

The chief guest in his speech stated that we need to move forward with the spirit of freedom. He also mentioned that BUP one day will be ranked among one the best universities in the world by dint of cooperation, expansion of basic research and improvement of quality education.

Among others, BUP high officials, faculty members, staffs, former and present students also joined the webinar.
