Oh Lord, Heal the World
  Date : 25-04-2024

Poet Dr. Maheswar Das

 Oh Lord, Heal the World

Oh, merciful Lord of the world,

The world is passing through.a tough time.

As if, a black cloud is hovering over the entire sky and there is darkness everywhere, no light is seen.

Millions and millions of life have been lost and death toll is continuing alarmingly everyday.

In this grim situation when the lives of the people are in the whirlpool of death and there is cry for life everywhere, no path is seen.

Oh, sweet master of the world bestow your mercy on us.

It is a fact that

We have wrought all the wrongs, polluted the natural flow of water, air and all the sources of Nature.

We admit all our wrong

Doings and mistakes

We bow down

Before you in gratitude beyond measures and pray you, most fervently to forgive us..

We are your children; bestow your sweet blessings, without which we will all die.

Heal the entire world

Let the jubilition and celebration continue.

Stars in the sky will be more radiant.

There will be clear natural flow of water in the river.

Birds carol will again rent the earth.

Oh Lord, we have full hope on your mercy, belief in your blessings.

Save us, save us, give peace, bliss and beatitude to the earthly life again and make this life joyful.
