Hasina sends mangoes to Modi and Mamata as gifts

Online Report : Benapole Customs Commissioner Azizur Rahman said Md Saniul Quader, First Secretary (Political) at the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata, received the cartons containing the mangoes at the zero point of Petrapole and Benapole Land Port at about 12:00 noon after completion of all the customs formalities.

There were 2,600 kilograms of mango in the truck which were sent in 260 cartons.

Bnapole Customs House`s deputy commissioner Anupam Chakma, Sharsha Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mir Alif Reza, Benapole Pourasava mayor Ashraful Alam Liton, assistant commissioner Kalyan Mitra, Benapole Port`s acting director Abdul Jalil, deputy director (Traffic) Mamun Kabir Tarafder, Navaron Circle`s ASP Jewel Imran, Benapole Port Police Station`s OC Mamun Khan and BGB personel were present during the mango handing over ceremony.

Bnapole Customs House`s deputy commissioner Anupam Chakma said the Bangladesh government`s gift of 2,600 kg mangoes arrived at Benapole Land Port in the morning which were later handed over completing all the formalities quickly.
