  Date : 20-04-2024

Online Report : At present there is no crisis in the production and supply of oxygen across the country. However, if the number of patients increases, it can be a challenge.

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) spokesperson Dr Nazmul Islam came up with the information in the health bulletin on Sunday.

About the allegation of oxygen crisis in a hospital in Bogura, the spokesperson said, “A committee has been formed to investigate allegations of patient deaths due to the oxygen crisis. DGHS will inform about the matter in details if an investigation report is received.”

Najmul Islam said the number of patients increased by 51 percent in the 26th week as compared to the 25th week. “At the same time, the death toll has risen by 46 percent. How the Moderna vaccine will be given has not yet been finalized. He also said that DGHS is working on this.”
