Abu Sayem, Cox`s Bazar: In a joint operation of Jowarianala Range and Ramu Upazila Administration under Cox`s Bazar North Forest Department, illegally established samils ​​have been evicted. At that time 40 cubic feet of sawdust was recovered.

On Sunday Ramu Upazila Administration Deputy District Executive Officer Pranoy Chakma and Jowarianala Range Officer Sultan Mahmud Titu conducted an operation and seized about 40 cubic feet of sawn timber and parts. However, no one associated with the wood and mill was found.

Sohail Rana, Assistant Conservator of Forests, Cox`s Bazar North Forest Department, said the forest department along with the upazila administration had launched a joint operation to evict the samils ​​and confiscated the timber and brought it to the range custody. The forest department is vigilant and vigilant in protecting government forest resources, restoring protected forest lands, preventing the cutting of stolen timber and hills.
