One and a half kg of cannabis seized in Sapahar, arrested 2

Jahangir Alam Manik, Sapahar: Police have arrested two persons with 1.5 kg of cannabis at Sapahar in Naogaon.

The arrested are Shariful Islam, 25, son of Mozammel of Harataki Paschimpara village and Sultan, 30, son of late Hanif of Harataki Purbapara village.

They were arrested from Khanjanpur Junglefind Tinmatha area of ​​the upazila around 11:15 pm on Tuesday. At that time, the police arrested two persons with 1 kg and 500 grams of cannabis wrapped in a bag and lungi folded with black costep.

Sapahar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Tarequr Rahman Sarkar confirmed the matter and said that a case has been filed against the detainees under the Narcotics Control Act and they were sent to jail through a court on Wednesday morning.
