KM Rubel, Faridpur: In Faridpur, the district Awami League has distributed cooked food among more than four hundred people of different professions affected by the Corona and lockdown.

Jharna Hasan, joint general secretary of the district Awami League, distributed food items as the chief guest at the station bazaar of ward 17 of Faridpur municipality on Saturday noon.

Also present were Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Abdur Razzak Mollah, District Awami League Treasurer Md. Nazrul Islam, Freedom Fighters Affairs Secretary Abul Fayez Shah Newaz, City Awami League Acting General Secretary Md. Moniruzzaman Monir, Kotwali Thana Awami League General Secretary Samchul Alam Chowdhury. Awami League leaders Md. Monir Hossain, Md. Abu Naeem, Animesh Roy, Sohail Reza Biplob, Councilor of Ward No. 17 Sheikh A. Jalil and others.

Md. Moniruzzaman Monir, acting general secretary of the city Awami League, said, "Food items are distributed among the people of different professions in ward 17 today as part of regular distribution of food among the helpless people affected by the district Awami League`s own funds."
