Inauguration of Corona Vaccine Mobile Camp at Bagmara

Rajshahi Bureau: The number of coronavirus infections and deaths in the country is constantly increasing. Corona patients are also increasing in the villages along with the city. Engineer Enamul Haque, Member of Parliament for Rajshahi-4 (Bagmara) constituency, Member of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, President of Upazila Awami League, has taken exceptional initiatives to protect the people of the village from the transmission of Corona virus. A mobile corona vaccination and free registration camp has been launched at the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum Complex, the party office of the Upazila Awami League, from Saturday. Here, any person in the village can register for free and get the corona vaccine. He has taken this initiative to ensure coronary vaccination especially for rural women.

MP Enamul Haque inaugurated the inaugural meeting of the mobile corona vaccination and free registration camp under the chairmanship of Upazila Awami League senior vice-president Abdul Malek Mandal Mayor and office secretary Nurul Islam as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, she said the initiative has been taken to administer the vaccine at the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum Complex in Bagmara, especially to raise awareness and motivation among women. So that the general public of the village be inspired in it.

Dr. Nasir Uddin, Resident Medical Officer of Bagmara Upazila Health Complex and Kahinur Banu, President of Upazila Mahila League addressed the meeting. Among others present were Sekmo Lokman Ali of Upazila Health Complex, Siraj Uddin Suruj, Joint General Secretary of Upazila Awami League, Asaduzzaman Asad, Vice Chairman, Rezaul Karim Reza, Treasurer, Mamtaz Akter Baby, Women Vice Chairman, Zillur Rahman, General Secretary of Sreepur Union Awami League, Basupara Union. Awami League General Secretary Vice President Abdul Barik, Upazila Mahila League General Secretary Jahanara Begum and others.

On the opening day, more than three hundred women were given the first dose of the corona virus vaccine. This vaccination program will run every day from 9 am to 1 pm.
