Rafiqul Islam, Sirajganj: The third consignment of oxygen imported from India is being unloaded at Bangabandhu Bridge Western Railway Station. The oxygen is being taken to the Central Oxygen Plant in Narayanganj by a lorry carrying gas from Saturday morning. The people of Linde Bangladesh Limited received the oxygen in the presence of the Western Railway and Setu Police.
The third consignment of 200 metric tons of liquid medical oxygen (LMO) in 10 containers of Oxygen Express train arrived at Bangabandhu Bridge Western Railway Station on Saturday morning. Contractor Linde Bangladesh is importing liquid oxygen.
Bangabandhu Bridge West Railway Station Master Ismail Hossain said the Oxygen Express train arrived here for the third time on Saturday morning. After unloading in the afternoon, the train will return to India. It may be mentioned that on July 25 and July 28, Oxygen Express came to the country with 200 metric tons of oxygen in the same train. A total of 600 metric tons of oxygen came to the country in three consignments from India.
