The UK BNP staged a protest at Glasgow city in Scotland
  Date : 17-04-2024

MT Desk: The United Kingdom BNP has staged a protest in front of the city of Glasgow in London, Scotland, demanding the unconditional release of BNP chairperson and former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia. Hundreds of leaders and activists from different cities of the United Kingdom took part in it.

BNP leaders and activists first gathered in front of the Scottish capital Glasgow on Monday (November 1) at noon. The rally demanded the immediate release of Begum Khaleda Zia. Otherwise, the movement will be accelerated in every country of the world, the leaders and activists warned. The leaders and activists sought the intervention of world leaders in establishing democracy and human rights in the country.

Welcoming the visit of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the leaders and activists of the United Kingdom branch of Awami League were seen chanting slogans.

In the same way that processions take place on the streets of Bangladesh, the leaders and activists of the United Kingdom BNP marched a few kilometers on the roads of London last Monday.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left for Scotland on Monday (November 1) to attend the World Climate Summit. He arrived in the UK last Monday local time.

MA Malek, president of the UK branch of the BNP, told reporters that they would protest wherever the prime minister went. He said the illegitimate Hasina government was continuing to use the political case as a tool to keep Begum Khaleda Zia away from the national election process.

Patal Mia, a member of the UK Metropolitan BNP and general secretary of Oxford Share Banbari, told reporters that nationalist power is the power of the people. This power cannot be disturbed by fear. The BNP is ready to deal with all the conspiracies of the Awami Bakshalis along with the people. As the farewell bell of the illegitimate government rang, an earthquake started in their decorated masnad.

Patal Mia further said that if the illegitimate government does not immediately withdraw all false cases against the country`s leader Begum Khaleda Zia and Deshnayak Tareq Rahman and stop the far-reaching conspiratorial harassment plan, it is ready to give a broken answer.

UK Metropolitan President Tajul Islam and General Secretary Abed Raja also spoke at the rally.

Sajidur Rahman Farooq, general secretary of the United Kingdom Awami League, alleged that such behavior of the BNP was tarnishing the image of Bangladeshis abroad.
