Khaleda`s treatment: 20-party alliance leaders to meet Home Minister

Online Report : Leaders of BNP-led 20-party alliance will meet Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan on Sunday with a memorandum demanding immediate release of the party chairperson Khaleda Zia and send her abroad for better treatment.

A five-member delegation, led by Bangladesh Kalyan Party chairman Sayed Muhammad Ibrahim Bir Pratik, is scheduled to meet the Minister at the Secretariat in the capital this afternoon and give the memorandum in this regard.

LDP secretary general Shahdat Hossain Salim confirmed the news around 11:45am

The delegation also includes National People`s Party (NPP) chairman Dr Fariduzzaman Farhad, National Democratic Party (NDP) Chairman Kari Abu Taher and Bangladesh Jatiya Dal (BJD) chairman Syed Ehsanul Huda.

On Saturday, the BNP announced to hold rallies across the country on Monday demanding release of Khaleda Zia for better treatment abroad.
