87 more hospitalized with dengue fever in 24 hrs

Online Desk : As many as 87 people with dengue fever were admitted to different hospitals in and outside the capital in the last 24 hours until Saturday morning.

With this, a total of 428 patients diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different hospitals.

Among them, 320 are receiving treatment in the government hospitals while the rest 108 in private ones, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.

It said a total of 27,004 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country as of today since January 1 this year.

To date, 98 people died of dengue while 26,478 out of the hospitalized patients recovered.
