Firing with 2 guns in Rajshahi: Rubel arrested from Cumilla

Johirul Islam Rubel, who opened fire from two guns keeping on his two hands in Rajshahi during the quota movement, has been arrested.

Rapid Action Battalion members arrested him at about 12:45AM on Saturday from Cumilla`s Daudkandi.

RAB legal and media wing senior director ASP ANM Imran Khan confirmed the arrest news.

He added, Johirul, equipped with two guns on hands, attacked the students and mass people in Rajshahi city`s Boalia area on August 5 when they were on the street movement. He fire indiscriminately on them with his two guns.
