Primary Village Doctors Society (PVDS) debuted with 6 point demand

Press Release: The Primary Village Doctors Society (PVDS) has made its debut with a 6-point demand in time.

Organized in collaboration with Subarna Run Group and RDSA and organized by Primary Village Doctors Society (PVDS). The newly elected convener of the organization Md. Gausul Azam presided over the day-long function from 4 pm to 4 pm. The chief negotiator was Anam Rustam Ali. Special negotiators were Md. Belal Ahmed and Ali Ahmed.

In the first session of the program from ten in the morning to one in the afternoon, the organization was discussed extensively. After the break of Friday prayers and lunch, a 21-member Central Convening Committee of PVDS was formed.

Md. Gausul Azam has been elected as the convener of the newly elected Central Convening Committee. Belal Ahmed, Ali Ahmed and Abdul Jalil have been elected as joint conveners. Anam Rustam Ali has been elected Member Secretary. Dewan Abul Hashem and SM Qutubi have been elected as joint member secretaries. Fourteen members have been elected, namely Rezaul Karim Reza (Dhaka), Deen Mohammad Murshid (Gazipur), Surjit Das (Sylhet), Hazrat Ali (Sylhet), Fayel Uddin (Meherpur), Rashedul Islam (Satkhira), Mufassil Hossain (Comilla), Abul Kalam Azad (Dhaka), Iqbal Hossain (Dhaka), Syed Munirul Haque Nobel (Jamalpur), Roknuzzaman (Khulna), Mostakima (Jamalpur), Saidur (Tangail) and Safinur Rahman Sanad (Dhaka).

Md. Gausul Azam, President of the discussion program, presented the 7-point demand of PVDS to the government.

The demands are: 1. Give professional recognition to rural doctors without delay, II. In order to increase the professional skills and to give valid and proper recognition, a task force should be formed by the State Medical Faculty under the Ministry of Health to issue certificates by taking examinations. Section 29 (1), 22 (1) of the Act passed in Parliament in 2010 to the effect that "rural doctors cannot write a doctor before their name" should be repealed. Introduce health insurance scheme for rural doctors, 5. Appropriate measures should be taken to provide medical services and self-reliance to the rural doctors by providing them with medicines worth Rs. At the same time, measures should be taken to stop the sale of medicines in grocery stores everywhere. Subject to the eligibility of the application, 10% quota should be reserved for the third and fourth class jobs under the Ministry of Health, including the Union Community Clinic for rural doctors and children.

The participating village physicians were given the prescribed oath of PVDS, blessings were extended to the country and the nation and all participants were given a diary of the current year, a pen and a lovely bag.
