Pak PM Imran Khan likely to visit Bangladesh
  Date : 26-04-2024

Diplomatic correspondent: Prime Minister of Islamic Republic Pakistan Imran Khan is likely to visit Bangladesh in May of this year to attend a conference of D-8 nations as Bangladesh is going to hold the conference in Dhaka on May 30 and 31.  Diplomatic sources said Dhaka is now seeking information whether there is any objection of any head of states of the member countries of D-8 for holding conference at that time.  As part of the proposed conference in May, Dhaka sent a letter to Pakistan Foreign Ministry through Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad seeking opinion of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Nur-E-Helal, Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner posted in Karachi, said Pakistan Prime Minister has been invited for D-8 conference in Dhaka.  Imran will take part in the conference and the relationship between the two nations will be strengthened further through his visit to Bangladesh, he hoped.
