Election Commission convener Maheshkhali Upazila Cooperative Officer Golam Masud Qutubi, Election Commission Member Upazila Project Officer Rupaj Khisa, Election Commission Member Upazila Social Service Officer Manzur Morshed, Maheshkhali Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee President Bir Muktijoddha Dr Firoz Khan and Maheshkhali Upazila Shilpa. The member of the academy is senior journalist M Ramzan Ali. President Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Jamirul Islam, unopposed elected vice-president Nurul Alam and artist Pradeep Kumar Ghosh, General Secretary Master Mahbub Alam got 88 votes and rival Abul Bashar Parvez got 15 votes. Joint Secretary Mohiuddin got 91 votes, Joint Secretary Abdu Salam Bangali got 63 votes and rival Touhida Akhter got 28votes. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Jamirul Islam and Maheshkhali Police Station OC Didarul Ferdous inspected the election. The election has been free, fair and beautiful in a democratic manner.
