2 die in Satkhira road accidents

Online Desk : Two persons died in separate road accidents in Satkhira district on Wednesday morning.

They died in Kazirhat and Shakdah areas of Satkhira-Jashore road around 8 am.

The deceased were Mahmud, a resident of Shakdah village under Kalaroa upazila, and Tayap Karigar, a trader of Kazirhat area.

Locals said Mahmud was going towards Kalaroa town riding on a motorcycle. He lost control on the motorcycle and fell on road. He died on the spot.


On the other hand, Tayap Karigar was going to Jashore by his motorcycle. On the way, he lost control on his motorcycle and collided a roadside tree in Kazirhat area. He died on the spot.

Satkhira`s Kalaroa Police Station officer-in-charge Mostafizur Rahman said the bodies were recovered and sent to morgue.
