Overseas air travel on business class at govt cost suspended

Online Desk : Foreign travel in `first class` by air at government expense has been suspended until further notice.

"As part of the multifaceted measures to rationalize government expenditure in the post-Covid economic recovery and the global crisis, foreign travel in `first class` by air at government expense has been suspended until further notice," said a media statement of the Prime Minister`s Press Wing.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina signed the summary related to it on Wednesday, it added.
