Kazi Riton Honored with Best Producer Award by TRAB for Acclaimed Drama ‘Pita Bonam Putro Gong’

Entertainment Desk: The Television Reporters Association of Bangladesh (TRAB) hosted a prestigious award ceremony at the National Press Club on July 18, 2023, to recognize outstanding contributions in the field of television production. Among the esteemed winners was Kazi Riton, received the Best Producer Award for his popular serial drama ‘Pita Bonam Putro Gong’. ‘Pita Bonam Putro Gong’ has captivated audiences across the nation since its premiere on Machranga television in August 2022. With its engaging storyline and stellar performances, the drama series has garnered immense popularity, paving the way for its success at the TRAB awards ceremony. The series not only received critical acclaim but also clinched awards in an impressive five categories. Kazi Riton`s exceptional skills as a producer played a pivotal role in the triumph of ‘Pita Bonam Putro Gong’ His meticulous attention to detail, strategic vision, and ability to bring out the best from the cast and crew contributed to the drama`s immense success. The award serves as a testament to his dedication and talent in the television industry. During the ceremony, playwright Brindavan Das, actor Chanchal Chowdhury, actress Shahnaz Khushi, and director Sakal Ahmed were also honored for their exceptional contributions to ‘Pita Bonam Putro Gong’. The talent and commitment displayed by the entire team played a significant role in the drama`s triumph. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including as chief guests Honorable Minister of State, Mr. KM Khalid (Ministry of Cultural Affairs) and special guests Mr. Shyamal Dutta (General Secretary of the National Press Club) Mr. Tashik Ahmed (Advisor Program and Broadcasting at ATN Bangla) and Mr. Manowar Hossain Pathan (President of TRAB). The auditorium of the press club reverberated with applause as each awardee expressed their gratitude and shared their heartfelt emotions. Kazi Riton`s recognition at the TRAB award ceremony is not the first of its kind. His exceptional work has garnered accolades in the past as well. In acknowledgment of his outstanding contributions, he previously received the CJFB Performance Award-2020. Additionally, he was honored with the BMKC Star Award-2021, Babisas Award-2021, and Natomela Award-2019 for his exceptional productions. Apart from production, he has served as a judge in various events. In 2014, he was a member of the honorable jury board of Natyo Juddho. He was also a judge in Kids Talent Hunt held in 2021, showcasing his versatility and commitment to the industry. This serial drama aired 5 days a week will end with 260 episodes in August 2023, Kazi Riton`s Best Producer Award serves as a fitting tribute to his exceptional talent and dedication.
