Throat-slit bodies of 3 of a family found in Ashulia flat

Online Desk : Police recovered the throat-slit bodies of a family`s three members from a flat in Ashulia of Savar on the outskirts of capital Dhaka on Saturday night.

The deceased were identified as Mokter Hossain Babul, from Lohagara village under Pirganj Police Station in Thakurgaon, his wife Shahida Begum, and their 12-year-old son Mehidy Hasan Joy. Mokter and Shahida worked in a readymade garment in Ashulia.

Ashulia Police Station sub-inspector Zohab Ali said police, being informed by locals, recovered the bodies from a flat of one Mehidy Hasan`s building at Jamgara Unique Fakir Bari intersection around 10 pm.

Police found the bodies of Shahida and Joy on the bed in a room while the body of Mokter with hands and legs tied in another room, he said, adding that they were looking into the matter.
