No scope for Khaleda Zia to go abroad without court`s permission: Quader
  Date : 09-05-2025

Online Report : BNP chairperson and former prime minister Khaleda Zia has no scope of going abroad without the permission of court, said Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader on Sunday (October 1).

He was speaking at the beginning of a joint meeting of Awami League presidium at the party`s central office at Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital.

Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges minister, said Khaleda Zia`s family wanted to send her abroad for treatment. But, the constitution has not given any such authority to the government or the executive branch to accord permission to Khaleda Zia of going abroad. "Khaleda Zia will have to take permission from a court of law. There is no scope for Khaleda Zia to go abroad without the permission of the court."
