HSC and equivalent exams of 2025 to be held in full marks
  Date : 04-05-2024

Online Report : The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations in 2025 will be held with a full syllabus and full marks.

A notification, signed by Bangladesh Inter-Education Board coordination committee chief and Dhaka education board chairman Prof Tapan Kumar Sarker, disclosed the information on Monday (December 18).

According to the order, the HSC and equivalent examinations for 2025 will be held as per the syllabus for 2025 formulated by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB).

The HSC and equivalent examinations in 2025 will be held in full time and with full marks in all subjects.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, educational institutions were closed, and class activities were hampered. As a result, auto-promotion was given to all students by subject mapping without taking the HSC exam that year. Later in 2021, the examination was conducted in three group-based subjects with reduced time and marks.

In 2023, SSC, HSC, and equivalent examinations were conducted on a short syllabus. However, this year, the SSC examination is conducted on subjects other than ICT with full marks.

The HSC exam in 2024 is also scheduled to be held in the same way. However, according to the new decision, from 2025, the exam will be conducted in full syllabus and time as usual before the COVID-19 pandemic.
