Three killed in bus-microbus collision in Cox`s Bazar

Online Desk : Three people were killed and several injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a microbus at Sadar upazila in Cox`s Bazar district on Monday.

The accident took place at 12 noon in Eidgaon police station area.

Two of the deceased were identified as Hafsa Begum, wife of Monir Ahmed, and Dula Miah, son of Golam Sobhan. Both hailed from Chattogram district.

Eidgaon Police Station officer-in-charge Shuvo Ranjan Chakma said a bus and a microbus collided head-on at noon, leaving two dead on the spot and several injured.


Another injured succumbed to his injuries on the way to a hospital. The condition of several injured was critical, and they were taken to different hospitals, the OC added.
