Dhaka-Khulna rail services resume

The rail operations between Dhaka to Khulna has been resumed after 3 hour as a freight train earlier was derailed in Rajbari on Thursday (May 2) morning.

After recovering the derailed carriage at 10:30 am, the train movement on that route was normal.

Assistant Engineer (Loco and Carriage) of Rajbari Railway Humayun Kabir confirmed the matter.

Earlier, at 7:30 am in Railgate No. 2 area of the district a freight train was derailed.

Due to the derailment of the main line, the rail link between Rajbari-Dhaka, Rajbari-Daulatdia and Rajbari-Khulna routes is halted.

Rajbari Railway Station Master Tanmoy Kumar Dutta said the train came from Khulna derailed while entering the Carriage and Wagon Depot in Railgate No. 2 area of Rajbari this morning.
