The RSS-backed BJP regime promotes Hindu supremacy, leading to discrimination against Muslims in all spheres of life. The Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC) have further exacerbated this discrimination, leaving millions of Muslims vulnerable to disenfranchisement.
Islamophobia has taken a lethal form in India, with Hindutva leaders openly calling for mass killings and violence against Muslims. The hate speech by BJP leaders, such as Giriraj Singh and Kapil Mishra, has emboldened Hindutva activists to carry out attacks on Muslims.
Experts warn of an impending genocide of Muslims in India, posing a significant challenge to the global community.
They urged international community, including the UN, to take immediate steps to stop hate crimes against Muslims in India. The rising attacks on Muslims are a clear indication of the growing influence of Hindutva ideologies, which pose a significant threat to global peace and security.
“The situation is alarming, and the world cannot afford to turn a blind eye to the atrocities committed against Muslims in India,” said a political analyst.
