  Date : 17-09-2024

Most of the readymade garment factories in Ashulia resumed work on Saturday morning which were closed for several days following workers protest.

The workers of Ashulia`s Narsinhopur, Jamgora DEPZ and Polashbari factories were seen joining their respective work places at 8AM.

Meanwhile, additional law enforcement agencies were deployed in front the RMG factories to avert any untoward situation.

Mohammad Sarwar Alam, superintendent of Ashulia industrial police-1, said the workers of several factories joined their works on time today. Only the production of 3-4 readymade garment factories will remain shut. But the situation is normal.

Mentionable, the production of the factories has been suspended following the protest of the employees for the last few days.
