Bangladesh Meteorological Department forecast that light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Barishal divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur division with moderately heavy falls at places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.

The low over west-central and adjoining north-west Bay persists and it is likely to intensify. The axis of monsoon troughs runs through Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across central part of Bangladesh.

Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.
