  Date : 04-07-2025

Online Desk: The Population Services and Training Center (PSTC) commemorated its 47th founding anniversary under the inspiring theme "PSTC @ 47: A Legacy of Care, A Future of Possibilities." The event was held with heartfelt celebration, reflection, and renewed commitment to PSTC’s enduring mission of advancing health, rights, and dignity for all.

The anniversary event was graced by Ms. Sanjeeda Islam, Chairperson of the Governing Body, alongside respected Board Member Dr. Md. GolamRahman and Treasurer Mr. BadrulMunir. The presence of the Governing Body reaffirmed their deep commitment to PSTC’s strategic vision and social mandate.

Dr. Noor Mohammad, Executive Director of PSTC, delivered a commemorative presentation outlining PSTC’s impactful journey over the decades. The presentation traced key milestones and innovations that have defined PSTC’s evolution as a trusted partner in development—working across sectors including sexual and reproductive health, youth empowerment, climate resilience, education, and humanitarian response.

“PSTC’s 47-year journey is a testament to its people-first values and tireless commitment to equity and justice,” said Ms. Sanjeeda Islam, Chairperson of the Governing Body. “As we celebrate this milestone, we also look ahead—with renewed energy—to a future where PSTC continues to serve as a catalyst for hope, opportunity, and positive change.”

Staff members from PSTC’s diverse portfolio of projects across the country, as well as those based at the Head Office, joined the celebration. Their presence brought an added sense of unity, strength, and pride in the organization’s shared purpose and collective accomplishments.

As PSTC steps into its 48th year, it remains steadfast in its vision of an inclusive, rights-based, and equitable society where everyone can thrive with dignity and agency.
