The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested top-listed criminal Mozammel along with one of his associates during a drive in Dhaka’s Badda area.
Muttazul Islam, assistant director of RAB’s media wing, confirmed the matter on Thursday (July 10).
The elite force detained the duo from the United International University area under Badda Police Station on Tuesday night, he said.
During the operation, RAB recovered a foreign-made pistol, two magazines, and two rounds of bullets from their possession.
Further details will be shared at a press briefing at the RAB-1 office in Uttara, Muttazul Islam added.
