Press Release: Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organized Reception Ceremony on Saturday, 2 January 2021 of Mohammed Monirul Moula, its newly appointed Managing Director & CEO. Muhammad Qaisar Ali, Additional Managing Director presided over the program while Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Additional Managing Director of the Bank addressed welcome speech. Mohammad Ali, Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, J Q M Habibullah, FCS, Taher Ahmed Chowdhury, Hasne Alam, Md. Saleh Iqbal, S M Rabiul Hasan, AAM Habibur Rahman, Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Md. Mosharraf Hossain and Md. Mostafizur Rahman Siddique, Deputy Managing Directors along with high officials of Head Office, Head of Zones and Branches of the Bank were present in the program.

Mohammed Monirul Moula in his speech as chief guest said, due to superiority of Shari`ah Banking System, Islami Bank expanded rapidly. The service of Islami Bank is open for mass people regardless of race, religion, creed and caste. Islami Bank is the first Shari`ah based Bank in South Asia and the only Bangladeshi Bank in the top 1000 banks of the world, he added.

He also expressed, shariah compliance, good governance, honesty, integrity & sincerity of its employees are the main keys behind the strength of Islami Bank. Islami Bank always plays vital role in all indicators of the country’s development including import, export & remittance. He emphasized on the proper utilization of time and relentless diligence to continue the Bank’s growth & success.

He calls upon all to work together with highest integrity and professionalism to overcome the upcoming challenges in 2021 in Banking & Economy sector due to the prevailing pandemic situation across the world.
