MM Rahmatullah: The office of the Chief Controller of Defense Finance (Pensions and Funds) for the payment of monthly pensions to the defense sector pensioners through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) was inaugurated on Sunday.

Comptroller General Defense Finance Mr. Md. Nurul Islam inaugurated the office. In his speech, he said it was a gift for defense pensioners on the occasion of Mujib`s centenary as part of building a digital Bangladesh. They will get services easily through this newly opened office. He wished success in this technology based office.

It may be mentioned that in the continuation of building Digital Bangladesh, on the occasion of Mujib`s centenary providing 100% pension through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) to the bank accounts of the honorable pensioners in the office of Comptroller General Defense Finance (CGDF) and Defense Finance Department. In order to implement the initiative of further simplification of pension services, the Ministry of Finance has sanctioned the monthly pension of honorable pensioners in the defense sector under the Comptroller General of Defense Finance (CGDF) and the approval of the Chief Controller of Defense for Fund Management.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials of the Defense Ministry and senior officials of the Defense Finance Department.
