Staff Reporter: Islami Bank Cardiac Center observed World Heart Day 2023 at Mirpur.

"Use heart, know heart" encouraging care for every heart. In line with this, they organized discussions on heart disease prevention, a rally, and a free medical camp for heart patients. In the morning after the rally, doctors, nurses, and IBF executives were present to inaugurate a health booth dedicated to free heart health checks. A discussion session was also arranged at the hospital`s auditorium.

The chief guest for the event was Bir Muktijoddha Professor Dr. Kazi Shahidul Alam, the Chairman of the Islami Bank Foundation. Special guest speeches were delivered by Mr. Md. Quamrul Hasan, Chairman of the Islami Bank Hospital Committee, and Mr. Mohammad Ali, Executive Director (Acting ) of the Islami Bank Foundation. The event was presided over by Dr. Sibgatur Rahman, Superintendent of the Islami Bank Cardiac Center, Mirpur.

Additional speeches were given by GM Mr. Md. Saleh Iqbal and Md. Abul Kalam, Training Co-ordinator Dr. Mozammel Hossain Khan, Director of IBF Reference Lab Dr. Tarek Al Nasser, Distinguished Cardiac Surgeon Dr. Shakhawat Hossain Sakil. of IBF. IBF staff and hospital personnel were also present at the event.
