MT Desk: India is attempting to defame Kashmiris’ demand of plebiscite by resorting to malicious propaganda as the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Modi government is using every tactic to malign the Kashmiris’ indigenous resistance movement.

According to Kashmir Media Service report, the Hindutva BJP Indian government has stooped so low to present a mentally unsound person as a ‘terrorist’ to smear Pakistan.

Indian forces continued their violent cordon and search operations and are targeting Kashmiris in fake encounters near the Line of Control and later dub it infiltration to defame Pakistan and the Kashmir freedom movement. India, through its pliant media is trying to paint Pakistan and the Kashmiris’ freedom movement in a bad light, the report said.

The report maintained that India had a habit of unleashing unsubstantiated propaganda against Pakistan and the Kashmiris’ freedom movement and had escalated its anti-Pakistan campaign marked by false narratives, concocted evidence and orchestration of fake encounters.

On the other hand, the Indian government is deploying huge paramilitary forces in Kashmir valley and sending the Indian army, including Rashtriya Rifles and Border Security Forces, to LoC areas which indicates the nefarious designs of Indian government against Pakistan. India by such tactics is strengthening its illegal military occupation in the internationally recognized disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

It said India is a known state-sponsor of terrorism and promoter of anti-Pakistan propaganda but will definitely fail in its sinister designs to defame Pakistan as the Kashmir freedom struggle as Pakistanis and the Kashmiris are determined to foil India’s hybrid war tactics against them.

Indian government attacks on ‘people’s memory and has banned the Kashmir’s books of famous Kashmiri, Indian and international recognized writers in the territory.

Indian pogrom in IIOJK is on lines with the Israeli unlawful actions against Palestinians. The only crime of Kashmiri human rights activist Khurram Parvez is to speak truth against a despotic power. “Despite being a peaceful activist, he was falsely accused of abetting terrorism. Whatever is happening in Kashmir is the Indian version of gestapo in 21st century which brutalizes and eliminates any voices that speak truth, An architecture of fascism is being erected in India, and RSS is the only state in India right now, ,” said Indian author Arundhati Rai’.

Narendra Modi-led Hindutva BJP Indian government is taking every sinister step to mislead the international community on the grim ground situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and present a picture of normalcy.

The Hindutva ideology is dangerous not only for South Asia but for the whole world as the sole aim of this ideology is to cleanse India of minorities and make it a Hindu Rashtra. The Bharatiya Janata Party’s conspiracy is to continue India’s illegal occupation of Kashmir and divide the people on different factions and groups in the territory.

Kashmir is not a part of India so India cannot impose its laws on Kashmir. India is violating the United Nations Security Council resolutions and the international law. Indian forces have practically converted the occupied territory into a military cantonment and the Indian troops were committing the worst kind of brutalities on innocent Kashmiris.

War is no option and all the disputes should be resolved through diplomacy and dialogue so that peace is given a change to prevail.

The report said Pakistan and India should live in peace and tranquility as best neighbours but for that they will have to settle the main dispute, the Kashmir dispute. The so-called elections in IIOJK will have no bearing on the disputed nature of Jammu and Kashmir as it is written in the resolutions of UN Security Council.
