  BTV to telecast World Cup 2026

The government has made an arrangement to telecast the World Cup 2026 alongside several other partners through Bangladesh Television (BTV), said Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapon on Tuesday in a statement.

The minister said the ministry would shortly provide official details to media outlets regarding the broadcasting arrangement.

"I am very happy to inform the countrymen that BTV will broadcast the World Cup 2026 along with some other partners."
