Staff Reporter : The government has extended the closure of the educational institutions of the country`s secondary and higher secondary levels to June 30.

Signed by the Education Ministry information and public relations officer M A Khair, a press release said this on Saturday.

The government ordered all educational institutions to close on March 17 last year following an outbreak of the novel coronavirus in the country.

Since then, the shutdown has been extended on several occasions, and most recently it has been prolonged to June 12.
