Three mobile showrooms were damaged in a fire in city’s Alkarmor area on Sunday morning. Abdur Rashid, acting deputy director of Rajshahi Fire Service and Civil Defence, said the fire broke out at around 10:00 am. Some goods of the showrooms were destroyed in the fire.

Three firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire within a short time. It is initially assumed that the fire was sparked by an electric short-circuit. The damage caused by the fire could not be ascertained yet, the official added.
