Hafez Moulana Mohammad Mufi Yusuf Jamil, Khatib of Shakeria Hafezia mosque led the supplication function just before the Iftar.
In his supplication, Mufti Yusuf Jamil made a special prayer for the affected people of the Bongo Bazar, which was badly gutted by the devastating fire yesterday. He also prayed to seek Allah’s blessings for the country, its peace, and its progress.
The Mufti delivered a speech about the significance and teachings of the holy Ramadan Kareem.
He said, Ramadan Kareem, brings people divine bounties and helps people to purge sins and animalism from hearts and minds. Ramadan also helps people reshape their life free from sin and corruption.
It is to be mentioned that Iftar or Fast-Breaking at sunset is an essential part and righteous ritual of the Ramadan Kareem.
It is learned from the Prophet’s Hadith that, if a person makes a fast keeper break the fast with food and drink, will accrue the same righteousness as the fast keeper receives from Allah.
In compliance with this holy idea and goodwill gesture, Dhaka Mohakhali Friends hosted the Iftar Mehfil of the glorified Ramadan Kareem for orphans and the students of the holy Quran for gaining the pleasure of Almighty Allah.
The Chief Editor of The Daily World Report Mr. Abdul Khaleque Khandker was also present on the righteous occasion as the guest of honor.
He observed that the Iftar party is not merely a party of meals, but it has also had a far-reaching significance in improving the brotherly relationships among people. Ramadan comes for people to learn forbearance, tolerance, and sympathy with others.
“We are much pleased to have been entertained with the hospitality and kind treatment of the host
Dhaka Mohakhali Friends,” said Abdul Alim, an orphan boy at the institute. “May Allah grant all well-being for all,” he prayed.
