Coronavirus global death toll climbs to 656,608

The novel coronavirus has killed 656,608​ people in the  213 countries and territories since the virus emerged in Wuhan of China last December, according to latest data from worldometer.
 

So far, 16,646,987 people were infected with coronavirus worldwide at 10:20 am on Tuesday (Bangladesh Time). Of them, 10,232,055 patients have been considered recovered.

 

Apart from this, the number of active cases are 5,758,324, the source said.

 

Among other coronavirus affected countries, the US has gone up to 150,444 deaths, followed by Brazil with 87,737, UK 45,759, Mexico 44,022, Italy 35,112, France 30,209, India 33,448, Spain 28,434, Iran 15,912, Russia 13,354, China 4,634, Indonesia 4,838, Saudi Arabia 2,760 and Australia 167 respectively, according to worldometer.
