BU Correspondent: An agreement has been signed between BarisalUniversity and BDREN. Agreement was signed on Thursday in the Vice-Chancellor’s office. This agreement was signed with the aim of ensuring continuous maintenance service support and supply for replacement as needed for various networking components installed or running in BarisalUniversity campus network through BDREN under Bangladesh University Grants Commission. Barisal University Vice-Chancellor Professor Md Chadekul Arefin signed the contract on behalf of BarisalUniversity in the presence of University Treasurer Professor Dr. Mohammad Badruzzaman Bhuiyan and BDIREN Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Taurit signed the agreement on behalf of BDIREN. Barisal University Registrar (Acting) Suprabhat Halder, Teachers Association President Arif Hossain, Networking and IT Office Director Rahat Hossain Faisal, Finance and Accounts Branch Deputy Director Subrata Kumar Bahadur, BDREN Chief Administrative and Finance Officer Mohammad Farooq Ali Tarafdar, Network Engineer Mahmudul Hasan Himu and the officers and employees of the University`s Networking and IT Office.
