PhD seminar held at IU

Rana Ahmmed Ovi, IU: A PhD seminar on `Role of Faqihs in Resolving Contradictory Hadiths Regarding Salat` was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Saturday. The seminar was held at the seminar room of IU Theology Faculty around 12:00 pm.

Theology Faculty dean Professor HNM Ershadullah was present at the seminar as the chief guest with Al-Hadith and Islamic Studies department chairman Professor Dr. Syed Maksudur Rahman in the chair.

Md. Rafiqul Islam presented the article in the seminar supervised by Al-Hadith and Islamic Studies department Professor Dr. Mainul Islam.

Professor Dr. Syed Maksudur Rahman, Chairman of Al-Hadith and Islamic Studies Department, said, `Any research is enriched through its basic theory and data. It is very important to be a Faqih and a Muhaddith to solve any conflicting matter in the hadith.`
