Angry spectators vandalize, set fire to BPL ticket counter

Online Report : The BPL is returning to Mirpur from Thursday after a one-day break. Before the start of the match on Thursday, incidents of vandalism and arson occurred at the ticket counter.

It was known that the spectators had been waiting for tickets at the Mirpur Swimming Complex since morning. The BCB had arranged for tickets at the booths there as well as online. However, by 11:30 am, the spectators started pushing the bamboo fence.

At one stage, they broke the gate and entered the booth and vandalized it.Then the protesters set fire to it.

Later, the fire service brought the fire under control. After that, the law enforcement forces took control of the place.
