Noted actor Dilu passes away

Online Desk : Prominent actor Mujibur Rahman Dilu passed away at United Hospital in the capital on Tuesday morning.

He died around 6:45am at the intensive care unit of the hospital, his elder brother Ataut Rahmnan confirmed.

Ataut Rahmnan said Dilu, also a director, theatre activist, playwright, freedom fighter, had been suffering from various diseases including lung, pneumonia. He sought duo from all for Dilu.

His son Ayon Rahman said he was negative for coronavirus.

The actor will be buried beside his father`s graveyard in Banani after janaza.

Mujibur Rahman Dilu`s most famous TV role was Malu, in the iconic TV drama serial `Shangshaptak`.
