Moin Mahmood : The certificate presentation ceremony of the three-day `Bancassurance training course’ organized for BRAC Bank PLC, organized by the Bangladesh Insurance Academy under the Banking and Financial Institutions Department, was held on January 14 at the Academy Bhaban in Mohakhali, the capital.

Nazma Mobarek, Secretary of the Financial Institutions Department of the Ministry of Finance, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the course. CEO of MetLife Bangladesh Alauddin Ahmed, Managing Director Pragati Life Insurance (PLC) Jalalul Azim, Deputy Managing Director of BRAC Bank (PLC) Syed Abdul Momen and many others spoke as special guests under the chairmanship of Additional Secretary Md. Sayeed Qutub. The overall management of the program was carried out by S.M. Ibrahim Hossain, ACII, Principal Faculty Member of Bangladesh Insurance Academy. The coordinator of the course was Accounting Officer Md. Nazmul Haque.
It is mentioned that the bancassurance training course was organized by Bangladesh Insurance Academy with the joint efforts of banks and insurers with the aim of diversifying the insurance product marketing system and ensuring fast and reliable insurance services to the customers. A total of 81 officers from BRAC Bank PLC participated in the training course.
Later, the chief guest, Secretary Nazma Mobarek, gave a speech emphasizing the importance of the training and handed over certificates to the trainees.
