  NCP forms central election management committee

 

The National Citizen Party (NCP) has formed a central election management committee, led by Nasiruddin Patwary and Dr Tasnim Zara. The committee will oversee overall preparations and planning, candidate selection, field coordination, legal and administrative activities, media and campaigning, as well as training and monitoring ahead of the 13th national elections in 2026.

The committee was approved on Tuesday (November 4) by the party’s convener, Md Nahid Islam, and member secretary, Akhtar Hossain, according to a press release.

Nasiruddin has been appointed as the committee chief, while Tasnim will serve as secretary. Other members include Ariful Islam Adib, Mahbub Alam Mahir, Khaled Saifullah, Ehtesham Haque, Advocate Abdullah Al Amin, Alauddin Mohammad, Advocate Zahidul Islam Musa, Advocate Humayra Noor, Saifullah Haidar, and Advocate Md Tarikul Islam.
