Five land traders fined for causing misery by dumping soil on paved roads

Mehedi Hasan Tanim, Gurudaspur: A mobile court has fined five land traders in Natore`s Gurudaspur for causing obstruction and suffering to the people by dumping soil on paved roads. Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mohammad Abu Russell conducted the operation on Sunday afternoon at the direction of Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Tamal Hossain in Bishbrod area near Mashinda Union.

Five land traders have been fined a total of Tk 70,000 in five cases for causing misery to the people by dumping soil on paved roads.

According to the upazila administration, the upazila administration is conducting daily operations due to illegal digging of ponds on agricultural land and destruction of paved roads. Such campaigns of the upazila administration will continue in the public interest.
