BNP rally begins in Nayapaltan

Several hundred leaders and activists of Bangladesh Nationalist Party joined a rally at Nayapaltan in the capital marking the second anniversary of the jailing of its chairperson Khaleda Zia, demanding her release.

The rally started in front of BNP`s central office in Nayapaltan at around 2:00 pm. BNP is staging a ‘big rally’ with huge gathering in a bid to show their strength and press home its demand for immediate release of chairperson Khaleda Zia from jail.
