3 organizations got Tk. 150,000 in Ranishankail

Md. Sabuj Islam, Ranishankail: The Community Development Association has given a check of Tk. 150,000 to 3 public organizations of the upazila for production and use of organic fertilizer in Ranishankail.

The check was handed over at the CDA`s annual coordination meeting with public representatives, civil society and government departments at the Upazila Chairman`s Council office on Thursday to ensure land rights and government services at the upazila level.

Chairman Shahriar Azam Munna was present as the chief guest in the meeting presided over by Kabiraj Murmur. Also present at the meeting, chaired by unit chief Ahsan Habib, were women vice chairman Shefali Begum, press club president Farooq Ahmed Sarkar, CDA regional manager Jahedur Rahman and leaders of various organizations.

In ensuring land rights and government services in the annual meeting, the leaders of the Upazila Bhumihin Samonvay Parishad of Janasangathan discussed in detail with the people`s representatives, civil society and government department leaders about khas land and various issues.
