Muhammad Ullah: The anti-domination movement has observed a human chain in protest of the persecution of the people of Kashmir and in solidarity with the independence of Kashmiris.

On Saturday at 11 am in front of the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) in the capital organized a human bond movement to prevent domination. According to a press release issued by the organization, the human bondage program was observed in protest of the persecution of the oppressed people of Kashmir and in support of Kashmir`s independence.

Yasir Ahmed of the civil movement said that Article 370 of Kashmir was repealed from the Indian Constitution on August 5, 2019. Since then, as of January 26, 2022, 439 civilians in the valley have been killed by Indian forces. In January 2022 alone, 22 civilians were killed by Indian forces in Kashmir.

The speakers said, "I am expressing solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir." Kashmir is an independent nation. We call on all conscientious and humane people of the world to support the Kashmiris against the illegal aggression of India. The United Nations must take immediate action to hold a referendum announced by former Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. The Indian Army, Navy and Air Force should be blacklisted worldwide for all crimes against humanity, including torture of women, children, kidnappings and rapes in Kashmir.

Article 370 needs to be reinstated before a referendum is held under the auspices of the United Nations to protect it from aggression. I urge Kashmiris all over the world to get humanitarian asylum without passport, visa free travel and accommodation and free education.

Masudur Hossain was also present at the human chain organized by the member secretary of the resistance movement Shamsuddin Ahmed.
